On the Block, for the Community, showing off the Love of Jesus.
Epiphany Gloucester will be a new church for Gloucester City and surrounding towns.
We aren’t here just for ourselves, but exist to serve real needs, and celebrate the good things already happening in our neighborhoods.
We want to build up a Church that loves each other, loves our city and creates a safe place for people to explore what they believe for themselves.
Epiphany comes from the greek word epiphainein which means “to manifest, display, show off; come suddenly into view,” and recalls the historic moment the wise men met with the Christ child. (Matthew 2:1-12)
No matter what your history is with Jesus good, bad or indifferent, we hope to start a movement of people that both have epiphanies and are living epiphanies, giving the people around us a new look at who God is by how we live.
With God’s help, we want to be a true fellowship of families and friends that reflect the diversity of the communities we live in.
Right now you are welcome to check out our Sunday Night Fellowship for an informal time of prayer, bible teaching and worship and BBQ at the King Street Pub Starting at 5 pm.
We also host a monthly ‘Theology on Tap‘ a laid back gathering of people of all kinds of opinions secular and religious, enjoying each other’s company, a few beers, and a discussion on big issues.
If you’d like, you can sign up for our bi-weekly updates here for future events.
